NEW! We start releasing a new product version (1.50.00) now. For more information see below.
Unicorn XML Toolkit is a developer product implementing various XML-enabling technologies, which include:
The Toolkit implements two sets of API: one for C++ and and one for ECMAScript.
The API for C++ provides 269 public classes grouped in 34 namespaces. The toolkit API documentation for C++, version 1.00.00, is available at https://www.unicorn-enterprises.com/doc/xmlkit/1.0/api/ApiDoc.html
The ECMAScript API can be used for the rapid development of XML-based applications. It provides ECMAScript binding for the functionality implemented by C++ interfaces of the toolkit. The ECMAScript engine is included in the product distribution. The toolkit API documentation for ECMAScript is available at https://www.unicorn-enterprises.com/doc/xmlkit/1.0/es/uesi.html
The toolkit distribution is accompanied by the complete (over 160'000 lines) C++ source code. The product is extensively documented and comes with the substantial amount of the sample code.
Toolkit libraries were used to develop all XML-enabling tools created by Unicorn Enterprises, which include:
The product supports Windows 95 and Windows NT 4.0 platforms. (Features related to ODBC and ActiveX are not supported on Windows 95).
Unicorn XML Toolkit is distributed commercially. To order, please write to mailto:[email protected]
NEW! We start releasing a new product version (1.50.00) now. The toolkit is available in various editions. The Standard Edition can be downloaded from our Web site now. The Standard Edition provides the C++ object library implementing:
The documentation for the toolkit application programmer interface is available online at https://www.unicorn-enterprises.com/doc/xmlkit/1.50.00/XmlStd.html
The product is accompanied by the developer license. This license grants you, free of charge, the right to use the toolkit for designing, developing and testing your software applications. Please note that Unicorn XML Toolkit is not a free software, and any commercial or production use of applications developed with this toolkit requires the production license, which can be obtained for a modest fee from Unicorn Enterprises SA (please contact [email protected] for details).
In the near future we plan to publish, in a rapid sequence, the collection of libraries, which extend the functionality provided by the Standard Edition, implementing the rich set of modern XML-enabling technologies. Revisit our Web site for the latest news.
